Quick Search

Using the Search Bar

The search bar at the top of every page provides instant access to:

1. Your Library: Books you've uploaded or added
2. Universal Library: Thousands of curated titles
3. Chat History: Previous conversations
4. Collections: Your organized book groups

Simply type and results appear instantly.

Search Suggestions

As you type, you'll see:

Advanced Search

Search Filters

Click "Advanced Search" or use the filter icon to access:

Content Filters

• Title: Search book titles
• Author: Find books by author
• ISBN: Exact book lookup
• Description: Search book summaries
• Content: Search within book text (Pro)

Metadata Filters

• Category: Fiction, Business, Technology, etc.
• Publication Year: Find recent or classic books
• Language: Filter by language
• Publisher: Books from specific publishers
• Page Count: Short reads vs. comprehensive texts

Status Filters

• Reading Status: Unread, In Progress, Completed
• Processing Status: Ready, Processing, Failed
• Added Date: Recently added books
• Last Accessed: Recently read books
• Rating: Your ratings or community ratings

Search Operators

Use special operators for precise searches:

Boolean Operators

• AND: leadership AND innovation (both terms)
• OR: python OR javascript (either term)
• NOT: marketing NOT digital (exclude term)
• Parentheses: (AI OR ML) AND ethics

Special Operators

• Quotes: "machine learning" (exact phrase)
• Wildcard: psych* (psychology, psychiatry, etc.)
• Fuzzy: ~organize (finds organize, organisation)
• Range: 2020..2024 (publication years)
